Note: Several announcements are contained below, including release of Response to Comments documents, kick-off of a new specification, and several website enhancements.
Response to Comments documents for the Composite Panels and Gypsum Wallboard specifications are now available. The complete list of responses may be downloaded (PDF) from www.eppbuildingproducts.org (from the homepage, click on the specification you wish to view, and you will see a link to download the file on the main specification page). The responses are also posted under the individual sections of each specification.
The next product category, Adhesives & Sealants, is now underway. The industry outreach for this specification began Friday, July 9 with an outreach email to the Adhesives & Sealants Council and manufacturers for whom we have contact information to solicit input. The contents of this outreach email are also available on our website (click on Adhesives & Sealants from the homepage).
A public stakeholder meeting for the Fiber-Based Insulation specification will be held on Monday, June 26th at the DSA Headquarters from 1:00-2:00pm at 1102 Q Street, Suite 5100 in Sacramento. Our Response to Comments on this draft specification will be posted approximately one week prior to the meeting. The purpose of the meeting is for our team to receive feedback on the first draft specification and our Response to Comments. All interested parties are welcome. Additional information, including hotel recommendations, for the Industry Roundtable on July 27 is now posted on the website (via a link on the homepage.
We have recently made other improvements to our website: a) EPP Specifications page is now organized by specification. This new organization includes additional links for Response to Comments and Information Resources documents. b) An Email Archive page is now available under the “About” tab. This page provides a link to previous emails that were sent out to all registered stakeholders.
