Email - Schedule Update - June 24, 2004

Dear Interested Parties:

The release of our Response to Comments documents for the Composite Panels and Gypsum Wallboard specifications will be delayed until early next week to allow us to take advantage of recent developments in indoor air quality testing programs.

Also, the public comment period for the draft specification for Fiber-Based Insulation will close next week on June 30 at the close of business (Pacific Time). The specification can be viewed and downloaded at http://www.eppbuildingproducts.org/specifications/draftspecs/FiberInsulationEPP.html

Finally, we will be holding an industry roundtable meeting in July and expanding our specifications development process to include a longer initial outreach period and a second public comment period for each category. The roundtable and expanded schedule will allow the current draft product specifications to benefit from all of the comments received to date and will allow more time for industry input on future drafts. We will send an email containing the date and time for the industry roundtable shortly.
